Do you want to provide home-based urgent care to chronically ill patients, many of whom are frail, elderly, and ill-equipped to navigate our overwhelming healthcare system?
Have you often thought that the problems these patients face are beyond the means of traditional healthcare, and wanted to be part of the solution?
If you answered yes, then you may be our Urgentivist team’s next Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Our Advanced Practice Providers (APP) are equipped with medications and medical supplies necessary to diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions. They are dispatched by our call center teams to patient’s home to provide the necessary urgent medical care. Because we are able to bring urgent care into the patient’s homes, our teams are able to provide critical intervention for our patients – often reducing or eliminating the need for an emergency room visit or providing necessary care to patients who may have otherwise suffered from complications because they did not want to leave their home.
How do we manage to do that? Through teamwork and technology. As an Urgentivist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you would be partnering with our talented and committed clinical and support teams. You would have the resources of our custom electronic medical records (EMR) program, comprehensive mobile medical technology system and dedicated technical support department.
At the end of every day, you will have worked toward a shared vision of maximizing quality of life for our most medically vulnerable patients.
Note: This is a full-time position with some on-call hours. Multiple shifts are available.
