Overview

The Client Operations Manager, specialty Credentialing, supports credentialing with health plans, skilled nursing facilities and other facilities under the supervision of the Director of Client Operations.  In addition, this manager supports Landmark physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in clinical leadership, DELTA team and Landmark First obtain licensure in new states.  The Client Operations Manager – Credentialing leads a team of credentialing and licensure specialists to meet organizational credentialing and licensure demands.  The manager will develop and implement operational processes and controls as well as metrics and monitoring tools.  This self-motivated individual will have the opportunity to support all markets and will be encouraged to take initiative in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select and train team of credentialing specialists
  • Supervise, coach and evaluate direct reports
  • Responsible for provider onboarding
  • Design and implement operational systems to complete health plan credentialing
  • Design and implement operational systems to complete facility credentialing
  • Design and implement operational systems to support medical license application processes
  • Ensure primary source verification of board certification, licensure and DEA certification is conducted
  • Establish system to monitor licenses and certifications for upcoming expirations, communicate effectively with providers and market regarding status
  • Monitor annual influenza vaccination and TB screening for providers
  • Design controls which support NCQA accreditation
  • Create metrics and monitoring systems to improve team performance
  • Design checks and balances systems to ensure team is following operational guidelines
  • Create environment of continuous improvement to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce timelines
  • Manage relationship with vendors for credentialing applications
  • Manage requests for software enhancements, test and approve enhancements
  • Some travel required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Health plan operations experience preferred
  • Windows-based computer skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required; Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Project a plus
