Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Analyst is a critical support role that was developed from an increasing workload in the Accounts Payable department. Accounts Payable responsibilities include supporting the full-cycle accounts payable process, including support for travel and expense, procurement, and general payables activities.


What you'll be doing:


  • Support Sr. Accounts Payable analyst in planning and organizing the accounts payable function, including:
    • Vendor maintenance
    • Assist with the timely and accurate processing of invoices for vendor obligations
    • Provide accurate and concise information to vendors regarding payment and invoice status
    • General ledger and reporting duties as assigned
    • Respond to all vendor payment inquiries (internal and external) in a timely fashion
    • Act as point of contact for IT procurement process (enter and receive PO’s to ensure proper and timely recording)
    • Assist employees from other departments with questions relating to our ERP system
      • Entering purchase orders
      • Approving Purchase Orders
      • Recording item receipts


  • Assist with the management of the travel and expense process
    • Assist employees with travel-related issues and escalate within the accounting department as appropriate
    • Handle employee questions regarding the travel and expense policy
    • Respond to inquiries regarding the status of expense report payments within one business day
    • Perform preliminary review of expense reports submitted for proper coding, support, and inquire on policy exceptions, as appropriate
    • Periodically load corporate card transactions into the travel and expense system
    • Work with Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst to develop monthly reporting package for travel and expenses
    • Help to manage Landmark’s corporate card program


  • Assist with annual 1099 reporting process and W-9 maintenance
  • Work with Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst to ensure that accounting has developed a thorough understanding of all corporate expenditures, that appropriate approvals have been obtained, and that all required documentation (i.e. copies of service agreements) have been acquired and added to the ERP System.
  • Assist with analysis of expenditures, as needed
  • Assist with year-end audit testing procedures
  • Manages multiple reporting requirements and ensure deadlines are met
  • Ad hoc information gathering, analysis, reporting, as needed
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, preferred. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • At least 2+ years in AP or general accounting
  • Strong data analysis skills, emphasis on accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Understanding of Accounting systems
  • Proficient in MS Office, and general computer applications
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
