Responsibilities

Human Resources Generalist

 

Position Overview:

In this key, highly visible role, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing both strategic and tactical Human Resources support to multiple Landmark locations.   As part of the corporate HR team this role will ensure consistency with our HR policies and programs and provide functional support to the Human Resources management team.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

  • Partner with other members of the HR team to ensure consistent overall human resources support to multiple Landmark locations
  • Administer and track compliance with Landmark’s annual incentive plan and performance review processes.
  • Process HR related transactions for all markets such as salary and status changes, supervisor changes, terminations and leave of absence entry.
  • Responsible for the processing of leave of absence requests for multiple markets. Leave of absence programs may include FMLA, CA and NY family leave laws, and other state specific programs.
  • In partnership with other members of the HR team, continually assesses the competitiveness of programs and practices to ensure that Landmark is an employer of choice.
  • In collaboration with the payroll and benefits teams, advise employees on benefits and pay issues, absences, and time reporting matters
  • Coordinate and track Landmark’s rewards and recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with members of the training and development team as appropriate to support new educational initiatives, special projects, employee onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Performs long and short term special projects directly related to the HR function and company goals.
  • Potential for up to 25% travel requirement, with overnights.


Qualifications

What we're looking for: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a human resources concentration or similar discipline
  • 4+ years of HR experience working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity and program development experience highly preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working in a generalist capacity; a “jack of all trades”.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management practices, and an understanding of legal aspects of the human resources field.
  • High energy, ability to work in an entrepreneurial, high growth environment
  • Communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Strong attention to details and ability to work on a variety of projects at the same time
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Bonus Points Awarded for:

  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
