Position Overview:


**Position can be Remote or located at any of our regional offices.


In this key role, the Business Analyst, Risk & Clinical Documentation will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting policies, processes and systems related to Clinical Documentation including Medicare risk adjustment. In addition, you will provide data analytics, project management and reporting that will be instrumental in helping Landmark provide quality patient care to all patient members.


What you’ll be doing: 

  • Contribute to the success of national business objectives by providing and interpreting reports and analyses.
  • Develop and interpret SQL queries, for regular and ad hoc analyses.
  • Analyze Claims and Risk Adjustment data and build out Risk Models.
  • Reconcile internal data to Healthplan patients and medical records data.
  • Reconcile program invoices, and calculate ROIs.
  • Develop report specifications and create complex reports for management or communities using available reporting tools.
  • Project management of programs by working with vendors and communities to set up and manage projects to completion.
  • Monitor programs to ensure data flows through the system as expected.
  • Use, protect, and disclose Healthcare Provider (HCP) patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Gather information needed for compliance related activities.
  • Participate in quality assurance process for all new department related system/application/process changes.


What we’re looking for:   

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.
  • Moderate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft SQL
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • 2+ years’ experience in healthcare industry and managed care preferred.
  • CMS-Risk Adjustment experience helpful.
  • Proven ability to track and manage all projects, as well as on-going activities within a project.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools, such as Reporting Services and Analysis Services or similar tools is helpful.
  • Experience working with large data sets and a variety of sources.
  • Experience with SharePoint site development and maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience in data and ad hoc analysis.
