Responsibilities

  • Maintain the day-to-day operations of VOIP and WAN services. Provides off hour support and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Interfaces with internal customers and vendors to determine VOIP and WAN needs.
  • Manages, configures, maintains and troubleshoots all VOIP , MDM and WAN services and systems.
  • Maintains manual and electronic documents, files and records for the purpose of documenting activities, conveying information and/or providing an up-to-date reference.
  • Orders parts for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items as needed
  • Monitors faults, performance, and capacity issues; prepares remediation reports and documentation.
  • Proactively researches, analyzes, identifies and resolves trends of utilization or errors and implement appropriate performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Continuously identifies opportunities for process and quality improvement and implements applicable technologies and / or process changes.
  • Assist in DR/BCP planning and testing. 
  • Prepares written materials (e.g. status reports, instructions, user guides, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Follows required protocols for HIPAA compliance and other healthcare regulatory compliance.
  • Tutors staff on a variety of software applications and hardware operations to provide ongoing support and maximimez the capabilities of assigned staff. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent certifications/training/experience in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in configuring, installing and maintaining VOIP systems.
  • Ability to work off-hours as needed / required.
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of premise cabling design and installation
  • Knowledge of enterprise Networks
  • Limited travel to satellite offices may be necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
