In this high-profile role, The Project Manager – Healthcare Client Operations (PM) supports multiple health plan clients under the supervision of the Director of Payor Operations.  In coordination with local market leadership, the PM serves as the primary contact for investigating, addressing, and escalating issues and inquiries of varied complexity and urgency across multiple departments.  This role lends project management, operational expertise and support during new client implementations as a key contributor to operationalizing service level agreements.  This self-motivated individual will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects, and will be encouraged to take initiative in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position has a significant effect on our ability to deliver quality patient care by ensuring our clients receive key operational support and efficient program execution!

What you'll be doing:


  • Triages issues and inquiries related to a variety of health plans, client data exchange, member customer service, claims processing, reporting, quality programs, and other topics
  • Provides excellent service and delivers timely responses to internal and external customers
  • Drives new client implementation workgroups under the leadership of the Director of Payor Operations
  • Monitors timeliness of data feeds and reporting due inbound from or outbound to client health plans
  • Works closely with IT to identify root cause and resolution of data discrepancies or delays
  • Facilitates credentialing applications and improve processes for clients for optimal credentialing turnaround times
  • Organizes Joint Operating Committee schedule and materials in partnership with market General Managers
  • Creates and disseminates documentation routinely, which may include tracking and reporting on client issues, health plan client benefits and formularies, training materials, workflow diagrams, and other tools
  • Project manages key deliverables on client work plans in partnership with Landmark Project Management



  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Operations or Project / Program Management role; healthcare experience preferred
  • Understanding of Operations, Program Implementation or Project Management concepts and practices is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization; internally and externally
  • Demonstrated internal and external customer service and customer relations experience
  • Strong writing, presentation, critical thinking, and meeting leadership skills
  • High energy, ability to work in a creative, entrepreneurial environment and think outside the box

Bonus Points Awarded for:

  • Project Management, Operations or program implementation experience in a healthcare environment is a big plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio is a plus
